| dc.description.abstract | El gascó pirinenc oriental --on s'inclouen les varietats de la Vall d'Aran-- ha estat objecte de nombroses publicacions on sovint apareixen designacions de vegetals. Tanmateix, també és freqüent que aquests mateixos treballs presentin llacunes i contradiccions, fins al punt que rarament podem establir catàlegs detallats i exhaustius de les formes usades en determinades zones o localitats. Amb dades de vint anys d'enquestes dialectològiques a la mà (que un dia ens han de permetre arribar a l'objectiu d'un nou atles lingüístic aranès), aquest article vol explicar i determinar la distribució territorial de les designacions corresponents a dos referents vegetals: les del timó (o farigola) i el serpoll (o timó de muntanya). En el primer cas conviuen apel·lacions autòctones i d'altres d'importades. En el segon es pot observar, a més, una realització africada fora de les poblacions on és regular com a resultat de -LL'. Entenem que són només un parell d'exemples que il·lustren l'existència de diferències geolingüístiques dins d'aquell petit país de muntanya i la necessitat de fer-ne una radiografia fitonímica profunda. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Eastern Pyrenean Gascon (including the varieties spoken in the Valley of Aran) has been the object of study of numerous publications in which plant names are often found. However, these studies commonly contain gaps and contradictions, so that it is rarely possible to establish detailed, exhaustive lists of the forms used in certain areas and places. Relying on twenty years’ dialectal surveys (which will one day allow us to devise a new Aranese linguistic atlas), this article is an attempt to account for and determine the territorial distribution of the names of two vegetal species : those referring to thyme (timó/farigola) and those referring to wild thyme (serpoll/timó de muntanya). In the first case, there are both native and imported terms. In the second case, there is an affricatedarticulation outside of places where the change from -ll’ to -[tʃ] is regular. It seems that it involves just a couple of examples that reveal the existence of geolinguistic differences within this small mountain area, but which point to the need for a more in-depth examination of the plant names there. | |
