| dc.description.abstract | El treball s’emmarca dins del projecte Centauro liderat des del Grup d’Investigació Prehistòrica de la UdL (PID2020-113369RJ-100). La investigació es centra en l’estudi dels conjunts de restes arqueozoològiques dipositats en dos estructures funeràries i en una escombrera. Del total d’estructures que es van excavar a la Cantorella se n’han seleccionat i estudiat 3 pertanyents al bronze ple regional. Les estructures estudiades han permès estudiar un 24,7% de restres respecte el volum total. A partir de la determinació anatòmica i taxonòmica, dels patrons de sacrifici i de les afectacions tafonòmiques s’ha establert que les diferències entre ambdues tipologies són palpables, sobretot pel que fa a la tafonomia i a les alteracions en la cortical de l’os. Respecte a les espècies, els caprins (ovelles i cabres), les vaques i els gossos són els més ben representats mentre que altres espècies, com els suids o les guineus, tenen una incidència menor. Per altra banda, hi ha un ampli ventall en les edats de sacrifici. En les sitges funeràries s’han identificat individus de totes les categories d’edat diferents mentre que en l’escombrera, sols s’han identificat individus joves adults. D’aquesta manera s’han pogut caraterizar dos contextos ben diferenciats que han aportat informació clau sobre la gestió ramadera que feien les comunitats del bronze ple a la plana occidental, un context encara poc conegut pel que fa a les interaccions entre les comunitats humanes i els animals. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The work is part of the Centauro project led by the Grup d’Investigació Prehistòrica of UdL (PID2020-113369RJ-100). The research focuses on the study of archaeozoological remains found in two funerary structures and a rubbish structure. Out of all the structures excavated at Cantorella, three belonging to the regional Bronze Age have been selected and studied. The studied structures have allowed the examination of 24.7% of the total volume of remains. Based on anatomical and taxonomic determinations, sacrifice patterns, and taphonomic affectations, it has been established that there are noticeable differences between the two typologies, particularly in terms of taphonomy and alterations in the cortical bone. Regarding species, goats, sheep, cows, and dogs are the most well-represented, while other species such as pigs or foxes have a lower incidence. Additionally, there is a wide range of ages at the time of sacrifice. Individuals from various age categories have been identified in the funerary pits, whereas in the rubbish structure, only young adults have been identified. This characterization of two distinct contexts has provided crucial information about the livestock management practices of Bronze Age communities in the western plain, a context that is still relatively unknown regarding interactions between human communities and animals. | |
