| ca_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Analysis of the Pre-Roman component in the toponymy of the municipalities of Graus, Secastilla, La Puebla de Castro, Perarrúa, Santaliestra and Capella. Apart from the toponymic corpus of this geographical area, an analysis is made of the toponyms that originate in lexical elements prior to Romanisation. This analysis has a three-fold perspective: on the one hand the toponyms formed over names that have reached our days (or up to a chronological stratums of historically known Romance) are differentiated from the toponyms whose lexical component does not let the Romance of the area pass through; on the other hand, those that are based on common vocabulary and those that are based on antroponyms or pre-Roman toponyms are differentiated; finally, within the Pre-Roman toponymy, the toponyms that have an Indo-European origin are distinguished from those that are explained through non-Indo-European substratum languages | ca_ES |
