| dc.description.abstract | A finales de 2008, la Generalitat de Cataluña dio a conocer los datos de un estudio que ha reabierto el eterno debate sobre las competencias lingüísticas de los escolares catalanes. A partir de este documento, el trabajo persigue un análisis de las informaciones más relevantes en lo relativo a las habilidades lingüísticas declaradas, haciendo hincapié en algunos de los grandes retos del Sistema Educativo: mejora de los niveles de conocimiento de catalán, castellano y lenguas extranjeras, y la búsqueda de una mayor equidad entre escolares autóctonos e inmigrantes en el acceso a las lenguas de la escuela. | ca_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | At the end of 2008, the Generalitat of Catalonia made to known the results of a new study. These data have re-opened the eternal debate about the linguistic competences of the Catalan students. Using this document, as a starting point, this paper pursues an analysis of the most outstanding information from the Study in relation to the stated linguistic abilities, emphasizing some of the most important challenges for the Educational System: to improve the levels of knowledge in Catalan, Spanish and foreign languages, and the need to look for a further equity among native and immigrant schoolchildren in the access to the languages of the school. | ca_ES |
