| dc.description.abstract | La mutilación genital femenina (MGF) es una forma de violencia extrema contra las mujeres, un ritual que encuentra en la cohesión social su justificación. Debido a la inmaterialidad de la tradición, la práctica se ha extendido hasta el punto de aparecer en lugares en los que no existía. En este trabajo, se analizaran las raíces antropológicas de la práctica con el propósito de superar algunos de sus tópicos, se abordará la insuficiencia de las iniciativas legislativas y se destacará la transferencia de conocimiento como movimiento indispensable para su erradicación. La Agenda 2030, en sus objetivos de sostenibilidad, promueve políticas que logren su desaparición al finalizar la década. Eso nos lleva a fijar la cuestión como punto de partida. Por ese motivo, en el marco práctico se analizan los datos de población de la provincia de Lleida para conocer posibles casos de riesgo teniendo en cuenta ciertos indicadores. | ca_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Female genital mutilation (FGM) is a form of extreme violence against women, a ritual that finds its justification in social cohesion. Due to the immateriality of the tradition, this practice has spread to the point of appearing in places where it did not exist. In this research essay, the anthropological roots of the practice will be analyzed in order to overcome some of its topics, the insufficiency of legislative initiatives will be addressed and the transfer of knowledge will be highlighted as an indispensable movement for its eradication. The 2030 Agenda, in its sustainability objectives, promotes policies that achieve its disappearance at the end of the decade. That leads us to set the question as a starting point.
