| dc.description.abstract | L’Oïda Absoluta (OA) és l’habilitat d’identificar i/o produir una nota sense necessitar un to de referència extern (Deutsch, 2014). Aquesta habilitat és poc comuna, només del 0,01 % a l’1 % de la població la posseeix (Loui, 2014). L’OA està distribuïda de manera desigual a través de les diferents poblacions del planeta: als països est-asiàtics, el percentatge d’individus amb OA és més alt que als països occidentals (Loui, 2014). La seva gènesi i característiques encara no són conegudes amb certesa i per aquest motiu l’OA ha sigut, últimament, un tema de recerca creixent, sobretot des de la millora de les tècniques de neuroimatgeria. Aquest Treball de Recerca, amb l’objectiu d’investigar les bases biològiques de l’OA i el seu processament al cervell, s’endinsa en el món de la neurologia i pretén investigar els factors que conformen l’OA. Enmig de la pandèmia de la Covid-19, l’estudi de camp plantejat consta d’una enquesta i dues proves experimentals realitzables a través de l’ordinador de cada participant (n=45). Les dues proves – una sobre el grau d’OA i l’altra sobre l’efecte Stroop – s’han dissenyat i implementat des de zero a través de la plataforma PsychoPy. A partir dels resultats, s’han realitzat múltiples anàlisis, concloent en que no és una, ni dos, sinó moltes variables en el seu conjunt les que conformen l’OA, algunes de les quals encara no es coneixen avui en dia. | ca_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Absolute pitch (AP) is the ability to name or produce a note of a given pitch in the absence of a reference note (Deutsch, 2014). AP is rare, in fact, its prevalence among the general population ranges from 0.01 % to 1 %. It is known that AP distribution across the different populations of the planet is unequal: AP’s prevalence is generally higher in East Asian than in Western countries (Loui, 2014). Since the improvement of neuroimaging techniques, AP has become an increasing subject of debate, though its genesis and distinctive traits are still little-known. Hence, the aim of this research project is to go into neurology to find out which are the biological biases of this ability and its neural underpinnings. Due to the Covid-19 pandemics, the empirical part of the project consists of a survey and two tests which can be accomplished from the computer of each participant (n=45). Both tests (the first one determining the degree of AP and the second one measuring the Stroop effect) have been designed and implemented from the outset through a digital platform called PsychoPy. Multiple analysis have been realised from the obtained results, concluding that it is not an isolated variable nor two, but all the variables as a whole what conform AP, some of whom still remain unknown. | |
