dc.description.abstractEl objetivo del presente artículo es ofrecer una aproximación panorámica sobre algunas de las tipologías textuales de que se dotó el escritor español Álvaro Retana (1890-1970) para introducir elementos de carácter autobiográfico en su producción literaria, de manera que pueda empezarse a valorar la heterodoxia personal y los peculiares mecanismos retóricos con que fue construyendo su masculinidad disidente. Así, serán analizados fragmentos procedentes de sus ficciones y ensayos junto a piezas más netamente autobiográficas, con formato de entrevista y auto-semblanza, escritos tanto durante su fecunda producción artística anterior a la Guerra Civil como bajo la dictadura franquista.
dc.description.abstractThis article offers a panoramic approach to some of the textual typologies that the Spanish writer Álvaro Retana (1890-1970) endowed himself with in order to introduce autobiographical elements in his literary works, in order to analyse his heterodoxy, as well as the peculiar rhetorical mechanisms with which he built his dissident masculinity. Thus, fragments from his fictions and essays will be introduced, together with more clearly autobiographical pieces, with an interview and self-portrait format, written both during his prolific artistic life prior to the Civil War and under the Franco dictatorship.
