The aim of this paper is to make a “status quaestionis” of the contribution of classical scholars at the Bourbonic University of Cervera (Catalonia) in eighteenth century. Their literary and epigraphic works, their Latin speeches, or Greek quotations, and paedagogic methods, as well as a detailed analysis of unpublished documents exhumed from the “Arxiu de la Universitat de Barcelona (Secció Cervera)” enable us to lend more credibility of their vast contribution.
