Abstract
Natural Deficit Disorder is a new pathology recently found due to the less contact the new generations have with nature. The project aims to demonstrate the importance of being in contact with nature and the significance of driving society to a more sustainable one, focusing mainly on ecological and botanical tourism. The theoretical part consists of getting to know the importance of these both types of tourism and analysing the flora and fauna of the region apart from explaining some curiosities of the plants and trees in the area. A botanical route has been created in Vilaller, a village situated in the Catalan Pyrenees, with the help of some organizations, such as ONCE association, the local government of Vilaller and “Viles Florides” association, that are fighting for the cause, too. The conclusion drawn from project confirms that the created route can improve the tourism of the village, being an opportunity for the local government when offering new activities.
