| dc.description.abstract | En aquest treball, titulat “Estudi ambiental d’un procés productiu d’embalatges de cartró ondulat”, s’estudia quins possibles impactes ambientals es produeixen en un procés de fabricació d’embalatges de cartró ondulat mitjançant la petjada de carboni corporativa d’una empresa concreta, dedicada a la fabricació d’aquest tipus de producte. S’ha realitzat una visió general del funcionament de l’empresa i els possibles productes que es poden fabricar. De cada etapa del procés de fabricació s’ha estudiat quins recursos i matèries primeres són necessaris i s’ha buscat els seus factors d’emissió per trobar el seu impacte ambiental. Un cop aconseguida aquesta informació, s’ha calculat la petjada de carboni corporativa de l’any 2019 (l’últim any amb normalitat pre-pandèmia) arribant al resultat de: 6.850.000 kg CO2 eq. Per altra banda, també s’ha volgut estudiar quin és l’impacte de la petjada de carboni d’un sol producte. Per això, s’ha proposat un envàs fabricat totalment de cartró per reduir el consum de plàstics en l’embalatge de llaunes de refrescs realitzant una comparativa de les petjades de carboni d’ambdós productes. El resultat ha sigut sorprenent, la petjada de carboni de l’embalatge de cartró ondulat ha resultat major a la de l’envàs de plàstic, però amb un marge de millora que permetria invertir els resultats. | ca_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study, entitled "Environment study of a corrugated cardboard production process," it studies what possible environmental impacts are produced in a process of corrugated cardboard production using the corporate carbon footprint of a particular company, dedicated to the manufacture of this type of product. An overview of the operation of the company and the possible products that can be manufactured has been carried out. From each stage of the manufacturing process, it has been studied what resources and raw materials are needed and has sought its emission factors to find its environmental impact. Once this information has been achieved, the corporate carbon footprint of 2019 (last year pre-pandemic) has been calculated to the result of: 6.850.000 kg CO2 eq. On the other hand, it has also been desired to study the impact of the carbon footprint of a single product. For this reason, it has been proposed that a fully-produced cardboard packaging should reduce the consumption of plastics in the packaging of soft cans by comparing the carbon footprints of both products. The result has been surprising, the carbon footprint of corrugated cardboard packaging has been higher than that of plastic packaging, but with an improvement margin that would allow the results to be reversed. | ca_ES |
