This paper presents an assemblage of Iron Age grinding stones from the Iron Age settlement of Cerro de la Cruz, Almedinilla, Córdoba (Spain). This Iberian Culture site dating from the 2nd century BC suffered a sudden violent destruction that left a number of its features, including mills, in their
original working position. The assemblage comprises both manually driven rotary querns and larger millstones at times on podia driven from a standing position. This study also advances several spatial, economic and social analysis considerations, as well as an analysis of the seeds collected in the vicinity of one on the mills.
