Some remarks on research on non-native teachers of English

In the last twenty years, we have seen a great deal of research on English as a Lingua Franca and non-native teachers of English. In this chapter, I intend to provide a global overview of some of the main findings obtained in previous studies, with the goal of centering the attention on those aspects
with the highest relevance and emphasizing the connection between non-native teachers and English as a Lingua Franca.
