This article link educational research with teacher improvement in the context of an action research. This research analyses the effects of the Internet as an information source for students of social work first. The methodology innovates on content analysis and research in academic tasks. These reflect how they treat information as described from it and make social reality. The results verify that access does not imply use competency and must secure the digital culture and reflexive practice
