La recerca del Grup gira al voltant de la carcinogènesi colo-rectal i els processos oncohematològics, en particular els limfomes i altres processos limfoproliferatius. Té una vessant de recerca clínica i un altra de recerca bàsica, sense oblidar la recerca en docència. Amb petites variacions en els seus components ja va ser enregistrat com a grup l'any 1995. Recentment, ha estat reconegut com a grup de recerca consolidat de la Universitat de Lleida. [Més informació].
