L'objectiu de recerca del grup és l'estudi dels mecanismes de pèrdua tolerància immunològica en les malalties endocrines autoimmunitàries, i més concretament en la Diabetis tipus 1 (T1D), i la seva aplicació en el diagnòstic i tractament d'aquestes malalties.
